[Asec] Conference Proposal Deadline April 1

Dear ASEC Members,

This is a friendly reminder to submit your proposals for our ninth biannual conference taking place 3-5 November 2022 at the Ohio State University. The submission deadline for panels (three papers) and individual papers is Friday, April 1! Send all proposals to Nadia Kizenko (nkizenko at albany.edu<mailto:nkizenko at albany.edu>).

We hope to see you in Columbus for a fantastic weekend of comradery and scholarship organized around the theme “Eastern Christianity in New Worlds.” You won’t want to miss keynote speaker Aram G. Sarkisian’s address “‘What are you going to do about it?’ Excavating Histories of Orthodox Christianity in North America.” For more information on the conference and its venue, contact HRL curator and RCMSS director Mary-Allen “Pasha” Johnson (hilandar at osu.edu<mailto:hilandar at osu.edu>).
