Dafna Rachok, Doctoral Candidate in Anthropology, Indiana University
and
Ivan Shmatko, Doctoral Candidate in Sociology, University of Alberta

After traveling to Ukraine to do dissertation research, both Dafna Rachok and Ivan Shmatko were there when the invasion occurred, and it has since transformed their daily lives. They will speak to us of the kinds of self-organization of humanitarian and other responses to the war in which they are involved.
