You don't often get email from irishenka.2008 at gmail.com<mailto:irishenka.2008 at gmail.com>. Learn why this is important<http://aka.ms/LearnAboutSenderIdentification>
And also ... sorry, but not all Ukrainian Orthodox will agree with you that the "Orthodox Church of Ukraine" is nascent. Talk to any priest/bishop right now within the UOC-MP: in 2018/2019, most parishes in Ukraine stayed within that structure rather than joining the "newly autocephalous" structure headed by Epiphanius Dumenko; today, on the ground, the overwhelming sentiment within the UOC-MP is that THEY are the Ukrainian church, and overwhelmingly they want autocephaly from Moscow but not to join the "nascent' structure you refer to. It's a mess, in short, and I join David in requesting that we be very, very careful with terminology.

Thanks, Frank:

Not at all important in the light of leitmotif, the need for more Orthodox prelates to condemn Putin's criminal war, but silly or careless mistake in the article: "... the nascent Orthodox Church of Ukraine in 2019 (for centuries, it has been under administrative leadership of the Patriarch of Moscow):" The author doesn't know of the 1721-1917 sinodal period in Russian Church history?

best to all -- stay safe, well ...
